Adding a business
You add a business from a website address or from a ready JSON file. Either way the values go through the same evidence check.
From a website addressLink to this section
- In the app, choose to add a new business.
- Paste the address of the site's home page.
- Wait. The system loads a limited number of pages from your site and sends them to an AI model to read. It can take about a minute.
- When it finishes you will see a proposed profile to review.
We can only read public pages. Addresses on internal networks are refused. If your site is not reachable from the internet, add the business with a JSON file.
With a ready JSON fileLink to this section
If you already have a profile in the system's format, upload it. It goes through the same check as values read from a website. The format is the one the server import command uses: every field has a path, a value, a source address, a quote and a confidence.
What is extractedLink to this section
- Name, description, address, phone, email and website.
- The type of business: restaurant, venue, shop or services.
- Opening hours and capacity, when the site describes them.
- Menu, products or services with prices.
- Policies: cancellation, delivery, returns, deposit, payment, accessibility.
The system does not invent missing information. If something is not on your site, it stays empty.
After addingLink to this section
A new business is a draft. Agents do not see it until you have reviewed and confirmed at least its name and type, and the operator has approved it. While it waits for approval the app shows it as "Awaiting approval". Continue with Reviewing the profile.
